School play a very important role in the lives of learners. It is a place where we gain knowledge, develop skills and prepare ourselves for the future.School does not only teach us subjects like Mathematics, Science and languages but it also help us grow into responsible individuals in society.
One of the main purposes of school is education. Through activities like homework, lessons and tests, learners gain knowledge that helps them understand the world around. Education opens doors to many opportunities and careers. Without school, it would be difficult for people to become doctors, teachers, engineers or leaders.
School also teaches discipline and responsibility. Learners are taught to respect rules, arrive on time, complete tasks and work hard. These skills are important not only at school but also in adult life. School helps learners learn how to work independently and as part of a team.
Another important role of school is social development. At school learners make friends, learn to communicate and understand different culture and backgrounds. Activities such as sports debates and cultural events helps learners build confidence and teamwork.
